My friend Mike moved to Korea a few months ago to teach English. He lives in Daegu and seems to be adapting well. He has girlfriend, a scooter, and at my urging, a photo-blog. All of those things can be seen here: Low Down Dirty Daegu (My Korean Sojourn).
Recently, he visited the DMZ that separates the north country from the south. Pretty serious stuff, when you think about it. Except that, apparently, the de-militarized zone is lined with stores and amusement parks.
