Back in October of 2006 I came across a fair amount of tech coverage about a new Web-based Ajax application, called Scrybe, that acts as a calender, organizer, and more. I was so impressed by the video, that I immediately signed up for beta testing.
Today finally, and practically 11 months after the fact, I got my Scrybe invite along with some Beta Testing Guidelines and I signed right up. While I haven’t spent really any time adding events and playing with the interface, from the little testing I have done, this application looks pretty cool, though it hesitates a bit on reloads.
The promise of responsive, flexible, and engaging applications that will successfully bridge the digital and physical worlds is awfully high. I wonder if this hyped-Web-app will live up to my expectations and help solve my need for a useful organizing platform that is mobile (home Mac, office XP) and engaging enough that I use it regularly? Only time and regular use will tell…
