I really love how Ella holds this rendition of 'Mack the Knife' (recorded in Berlin in 1961) together after forgetting the words.

I first heard it during my green days as a producer for the Jazz Oasis. I was working with Toni, a great and vibrant jazz DJ whose perspective (handed down from her father) really influenced not only how I craft I a jazz radio show... but also how I grew to appreciate jazz.
